Skruk, koro ve klasik türde bir toplulukken; Rim Banna, geleneksel doğu kültürünü ve dili temsil etmiş, albümdeki parçalar da yine geleneksel parçalardan seçilerek, klasik koral, caz ve geleneksel halk müziği formlarının güzel ve başarılı bir sentezi ortaya çıkmıştır. Arranaged ve koro piyanisti Toed Gustavsen koroda yer alırken, Rim Banna grubunda ise perküsyon, vokal, piyano ve bas eşlik etmiştir.


RIM BANNA (Biography)

Rim Banna (Arabic: ريم بنا ‎, born December 8, 1966) is a Palestinian singer, composer, arranger and activist, who is most known for her modern interpretations of traditional Palestinian songs and poetry. Banna was born in Nazareth, Israel, where she graduated from Nazareth Baptist School. She currently lives in Nazareth with her husband and three children.[1] She met her husband, Ukrainian guitarist/composer Leonid Alexeyenko, while studying music together at the Higher Music Conservatory in Moscow and they married in 1991.
